Xi’s call for enhanced security measures includes leveraging technology and legal frameworks to fortify China’s security infrastructure. According to Chinese authorities, the country has seen a decrease in criminal and homicide cases in 2025, with public satisfaction regarding safety levels exceeding 98 percent. Efforts to combat organized crime, online fraud, and other security threats remain ongoing.
The Chinese government plans to place a greater focus on early risk detection, crime prevention, and resolving disputes locally. Authorities are also prioritizing the fight against serious violent crimes, human trafficking, telecom fraud, and other significant threats.
