China Airlines has expanded its network in Japan with the launch of a new daily route linking Taichung and Okinawa. This addition increases the airline’s weekly round-trip flights between Taiwan and Japan to over 170. The service utilizes an Airbus A321neo aircraft, with flight CI310 departing Taichung at 10:00 a.m. and arriving in Okinawa by 12:40 p.m. The return flight, CI311, takes off from Okinawa at 1:40 p.m. and touches down in Taichung at 2:10 p.m.
Further enhancing its offerings, China Airlines plans to introduce a second daily flight on August 13. This new service, flight CI312, will leave Taichung at 3:20 p.m., reaching Okinawa by 6:00 p.m. The corresponding return flight, CI313, is set to depart Okinawa at 7:00 p.m., landing in Taichung at 7:30 p.m.
With these new flights, combined with existing routes from Taipei and Kaohsiung, China Airlines will operate approximately 30 round-trip flights to Okinawa each week. This expansion significantly boosts connectivity between Taiwan and Japan, providing more travel options for both business and leisure passengers.
The enhanced schedule underscores China Airlines’ commitment to strengthening travel links within the region. By offering increased flight frequencies, the airline not only caters to rising passenger demand but also bolsters its presence in the competitive Asia-Pacific aviation market.
